New features and technology in 2017 Red Paddle Co range

Welcome to the future. This video gives us an in depth look at the 2017 Red Paddle Co inflatable SUP range. We’re extremely proud to be authorised dealers of one of the industry leading paddle board brands and for 2017, they’ve raised the bar again with innovation, technology and attention to detail to provide the most authentic and enjoyable paddle boarding experience.

There was a time where inflatable paddle boards were mostly considered inferior to hard boards for performance, features, durability and value for money. Now if Europe is any indication of the paddle boarding market, inflatable paddle boards will soon dominate the local market as well. Long, heavy hard boards are just not necessary when today’s inflatable paddle boards can provide the same experience with the added convenience of easy transporting, storage and arguably better durability, especially for those with less than careful young family members, I have 2 myself.

Anyway, back on track here. For 2017, Red Paddle Co has introduced a slew of new features, let’s take a look at the video.

Red Paddle Co 2017 Innovation

For those who may be at work, commuting or forgot your headphones, here is a transcript of the video.

At Red Paddle Co, we’re driven by the mission to be the world’s most popular SUP brand. Our focus on the details allows us to bring you the highest spec boards. Our dedicated production facility means all of our innovation is done behind closed doors, and allows us to truly bring real innovation to the range.

We have made further improvements to the MSL material, increasing thickness and bond strength means we can reduce batch inconsistencies and allows us to make boards from the most advanced drop stitch available. The material is often copied, but never equalled.

The runner fins on Explorers and Race boards have been totally redesigned to allow them to bend more easily when packing up, and reduce drag while paddling.

The FCS tool-less fin system makes for super fast fitment and removal with no need for bolts or tools. Working with FCS means we have the best foils on the best boards.

The Sure-Fin system takes a tried and tested dagger board concept and brings it up to date. Exacting moulding standards allow us to produce a brilliant dagger board system for the modern windsurf board.

The work by the Red Paddle Co racing development team, means we can bring you the patented Forward Flex Control system, or FFC for short, available exclusively on the Elite models. It totally removes the nose flex usually associated with inflatable race boards during fast sprinting. This innovation is geared towards gaining those extra few percent of performance for elite level racers

We have partnered with 2 brands for 2017. Firstly, RAM Mounts. All boards are fitted RAM compatible screw threads on the nose, or at the cargo positions. This allows the rider to utilise the huge range of RAM Mount accessories. The second, is Fusion. The global leader in marine electronics has partnered with us to launch their brilliant bluetooth speaker system. Totally waterproof, the Stereo Activ produces top quality sound, and is also compatible with a deck mounted safe box for your valuables. Launching later this year, Fusion, who are owned by Garmin, will be using Red Paddle Co to promote the Stereo Activ.

The Titan Pump has had an internal redesign to dramatically improve it’s efficiency. New handles, gaskets, housing and materials, make it the clear leader in pumping technology. While other brands focusing on double action pumping, we focus on efficiency and ease of use. There is just nothing like a Red Paddle Co Titan Pump. For 2017, it will be available in a box version, with adaptors to allow you to target the kite and inflatable kayak markets, it’s just too good to keep it to ourselves.

Research and development is central to everything we do at Red. While we look to take the high end racing performance to the next level, we also focus closely on making the all round and touring boards easier to use and more desirable. Unlike other brands, our R&D focus covers all our boards to ensure we can offer the absolute best product for all types of paddlers.

With progress like this, the boards will soon be paddling themselves!
