We are super excited to introduce the Starboard 12’6″ Generation Deluxe, an inflatable version of the highly successful Starboard Generation. This board fills a unique gap in the Starboard lineup that had been left wanting since they stopped producing a board called The Free Ride. The Generation has been a runaway success since its introduction, thanks to its incredible versatility. It’s a veritable Swiss army knife of a board, excelling in a variety of conditions.

Versatility and Performance

One of the main reasons for the Generation’s success is its versatility. While many all-rounder boards are typically around 10’6″ in length, they often fall short in flat water performance due to their shorter waterline length. The Generation, at 12’6″, strikes a perfect balance, offering better performance in flatter conditions without sacrificing too much maneuverability. Longer boards can be less responsive, but the Generation’s design overcomes this with several key features carried over from its composite version.

Rocker Line and Shape

Deck Pad

The crocodile skin finish on the diamond-cut deck pad is relatively flat, which is comfortable for extended use. This design drains water quickly and doesn’t wear on your feet as deeper cuts might.

Rail Construction

In the deluxe construction, Starboard has added an extra layer of material at the rail, Parabolic Rails, enhancing rigidity when the board is inflated to 15-18 PSI. This additional rigidity improves overall performance.
