How to use the Red Paddle Co Titan 2 SUP Pump

The Red Paddle Co Titan 2 represents a significant advancement in pumping ease and efficiency. This twin chamber pump allows you to simultaneously maximize both volume and pressure into your board. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use it:

Start by taking the handle from the side of the pump and threading it through the top. Next, fold the feet down until they are flat on the floor. Then, take the pump hose, which features identical connectors on both ends, ensuring you cannot attach it incorrectly. Align the groove on the end of the nozzle with the 12 o’clock position on the pump, push it in, and twist it clockwise to lock it securely.

This end of the hose then connects to your board. When you begin pumping, ensure the exhaust lever is fully pulled back towards you. For optimal efficiency, perform four full strokes—pulling the handle all the way up and pushing it all the way down. As you pump, and the pressure reaches about five or six psi, you will notice air beginning to exhaust from the side of the pump, which is completely normal.

Continue pumping until it becomes too difficult or tiring. At this point, push the lever forward to fully exhaust the front chamber, leaving only the rear chamber active. You can then continue pumping up to 20 psi or more. Once you’ve finished, disconnecting the hose is straightforward: remove the handle, pull the exhaust lever all the way back, fold up the feet, and pack the pump away.
