Innovations like the DROP FIN BOX make a big difference: the outline enhances the box’s hydrodynamic efficiency, reducing its drag by 50%. Smart reinforcements have brought down the weight by 10%. A new hidden compartment conceals the knot of the Airline’s aramid cable, freeing up space to adjust the fin’s position.
The board’s stiffness gets a boost with TWIN CARBON STRINGERS located on the deck. Additionally, a CARBON CENTER STRINGER enhances the board’s stiffness and reflex sensation while covering the floating cable and creating a smoother surface.
The EVA STANDING TRAY has multiple benefits. It encourages a wider stance for better stability, provides more control for steering, creates a dug-out standing making it versatile for choppy waters, and is lightweight, soft, and flexible when packing.
The TENSION ADJUSTER allows for easy setting of desired cable tension and rebound feeling with four different positions. The NOSE CONE, made from upcycled fishing nets, guides the cable while shaping the perfect nose.
RAIL EDGE TECHNOLOGY creates a sharp edge for a smooth water release, optimizing glide and speed. RACE HANDLES provide a balanced grip for a beach start. The FIN SET UP ensures a tighter rigging with the Airline fin box locking the cable at the board’s tail.
DIAMOND GROOVED TAIL KICK PAD enhances buoy turning and surfing control. An FCS INSERT at the nose accommodates GoPro, phone holder, compass, or GPS, and every board comes with a STAR mount for extra accessories.
The BUNGEE TIE DOWN system with 4 D-rings ensures your gear is secure, and a pump is included for quick and comfortable inflation.
The Starboard TIKI PUMP is 10% more efficient due to the redesigned piston and outside tube for the air outlet.
A free, lightweight LEASH, weighing only 70g, is also part of the package. The leash, which flattens when stood upon, can be easily attached to the leash ring without the need for excess rope loop.
Lastly, the BAG, made from recycled plastic bottles, is wider and shorter for easy packing while preserving the shape of the Side Walls. Approximately 30 bottles are used to make each bag.
