Starboard has taken their surf action to the next level with their inflatable surf paddle boards. These boards feature Woven Fusion Technology and Double Chamber Construction to optimize stiffness and simulate the feel of a hardboard. These boards, built on Starboard’s classic surf composite outline, are designed with a narrow nose to prevent snagging during turns, a wide standing area for stability, and a pulled-in tail for quick, reactive turns.

The new 8’7″ x 32″ x 4″ Wedge model is a reflection of Starboard’s composite Wedge board of similar dimensions. Each Starboard inflatable paddle board boasts welded rail technology, which forms an airtight, mechanically bonded seam, removing the risk of glue weakening over time. This innovative technique results in stronger, more durable boards.
With the double chamber construction, they’ve further enhanced the overall stiffness of the boards, enabling the generation of more power and responsiveness in turns. This chamber is positioned rearward of the center to control the shape and prevent the board from flexing while surfing.
The boards come with a curved rocker line featuring a large nose rocker to limit nose diving and catching during turns, and a tail kick to lift the nose for smooth turns and easy direction changes. They also have thinner rails (4.75″ for the Surf model and 4.0″ for the Wedge model) for superior control and maneuverability.
To maximize comfort and control, the boards have a diamond grooved deck pad and a tail kick pad with a raised kicker for powerful turns. The fin set-up includes one center fin and two side fins placed close to the rail for the quickest response and control during turns.

Every board comes with a lightweight, yet durable re-cover bag, designed for comfort and strength. The bag features roller wheels for convenience and an ergonomically curved hiking strap for stable shoulder carrying.
Additional board features include a parabolic rail reinforcement for significant stiffness enhancement and a fast, easy, and comfortable Tiki pump system with a fixed hose and gauge position. The redesigned piston and outside tube make the pump 10% more efficient, with double and single-action pumping modes and a wider removable foot base for stability.
