Icelandic Adventure Of A Lifetime

In November 2021, a team of three Canadian adventurers set out on a 14-day multi-sport journey in Iceland. The explorers, Jimmy Martinello, Luca Sommaruga-Malaguti, Tim Emmett, and filmmaker Brian Hockenstein, sought to experience “water” in all its forms by following the conditions and elements around the island.

They took part in activities such as surfing Icelandic waves, climbing icebergs, and free diving in 33F water, all while traversing the fine line between frozen and liquid. Connecting each activity, the group used Red Paddle Co boards as their mode of transport.
