The best surfing inflatable SUPs

In their most recent Pro video, SUPboarder have tested 11 of the best surf inflatable stand up paddle boards. Coming out on top, we are proud to say, are the Starboard Surf 9’5″ and the new (yet to be released in the US) Red Paddle Co 8’10” Compact. The Starboard won for riders over 175lbs while the new Red Compact 8’10” won for riders under 175lbs. Honourable mention is the Fanatic 8’6″ Stubby Air.

The 8’10” Compact is based off the current 8’10” Whip, but using the PACT MSL compact fold in half and twin fin technology. Watch for the US release early 2023.

Starboard could well have won both categories. The new 8’7″ x 32″ Wedge from Starboard is 4″ thick, double chamber, and includes Starboard’s new parabolic rail reinforcement. Watch for the first batch of stock arriving early 2023.
