The #1 Top Selling Starboard All Rounder Inflatable SUP

Ethan, a certified SUP Coach based in Pa Paz Mexico, recently started using the Starboard iGO Deluxe Single Chamber 10’8″ x 33″ paddle board and it has truly changed his perspective on inflatable paddle boards. In this review, he’ll share with you some of his thoughts and opinions to help you determine if it’s the right board for you.

The design of this paddle board is made up of three main components that contribute to its quality: welded rail technology, woven fusion drop stitch, and 2000D galvanized rails. These elements work together to create a strong, rigid board for stability on the water. The board also features a bungee strap system on the front, a single handle in the middle, and two D-rings for the shoulder strap carry system. The back of the board has a kick pad for surfing and pivot turning, a carry handle, a nozzle connection for inflating, and a D-ring for the leash. The bottom of the board has an 8-inch fin and a screw to fasten the fin. There’s also a final D-ring at the front for anchoring.

In terms of durability, Ethan found this board to be incredibly tough. You don’t have to worry about damaging it as you would with other hard paddle boards. Just be careful of sharp surfaces and objects that could puncture the board and don’t leaving it in direct sunlight for extended periods of time as it may over inflate and become damaged.

The iGO 10’8″ Deluxe Single Chamber is a great board for a wide range of users. It’s stable, lightweight, and easy to carry. Starboard recommends it for people up to 265lbs, but if you’re over 200lbs, you may want to consider looking into a larger board for better balance, like the 12′ x 33″ iGO Deluxe. Performance-wise, this board has minimal flex, it feels solid and the kick pad at the back makes pivot turns easier. The board is only 10’8″ long, so it doesn’t have the best glide, but it still performs well overall.

In terms of price, you can usually find this board in retail stores for around 1100 USD, and Ethan believes it’s a fair price for the premium quality and features you receive.
