The 2022 Starboard Lima Prepreg Carbon paddle sees some major updates in the design of the blade. All the volume has be machined out of the blade. Lower volume makes it lighter, easier to enter the water, smoother and more comfortable to use. It would seem that Starboard has improved on perfection.
The new 2022 Lima Prepreg Carbon blade features new CNC core twin ribs shape. The ribs create blade strength and ability to cut through the water faster. This reduces the blade volume by 15%. The Lima Prepreg Carbon is Starboard’s top of the line super light, strong and responsive blade technology and uses full cover pre-impregnated top of the line 3K Carbon fibers. With a controlled resin uptake, the overall strength is increased with the high consistency pre-impregnation.
The full 3K Prepreg Carbon infused rails all the way around the blade are for increased durability and impact resistant. The 2022 Starboard Lima is more direct in the water: the first catch feels incredibly precise and powerful. This precision allows better control, power and improved comfort and cadence.
