River SUP touring on the Red Paddle Co 12’6″ and 9’2″

A couple of SUP addicts went for a paddle the other day in France. After the heavy flooding of the Gave de Pau in 2013, they, Jean-Luc Bouroullec and William Vetel, scouted this section of the river for the first time providing an entertaining ride, for the viewer at least. Watch as they navigate rough conditions, debris and overcast weather on their Red Paddle Co inflatable stand up paddle boards.

The video really shows the versatility of inflatable stand up paddle boards and in this case the 9’2″ Surf Star and the 12’6″ Race. Two boards named for two very different facets of paddle boarding yet come together and function exceptionally well as all round river riding paddle boards. Never worry about the rocks, branches, and any other sort of flooded river debris, an inflatable SUP is tough as nails and will keep you boarding for years.

So keep in mind that while the boards are named for their strength, they are able to perform well in all conditions for all rider levels.
