Inflatable SUP optimal pressure and Schrader valve adaptor

New for 2014 is the K-Air II device from K-Pump. The K-Air II features a universal adaptor to suit many inflation valve types, a blow off valve at a preset pressure and a tire valve or Schrader valve so you can use a gas station compressor, a home compressor or a portable tire inflator to pump up your inflatable SUP. The K-Air II’s also fit over the end of the K-220 and K-20 SUP pumps for easy inflation.

The blow off valve makes pumping an almost completely worry free process as there is no chance you can over inflate and damage your board. Currently we stock the K-Air II’s which come preset with 15PSI and 18PSI blow off valves. K-Air II’s with 20PSI and 25PSI blow off valves are in the works and should be ready some time this summer.

So if you are using the Schrader adaptor or have the device fitted to a K-Pump, you can pump away until you hear the blow off valve bleeding off the excess pressure. You’ve reached your desired pressure without needing to stop and check with the K-Pump Kwik Check Pressure Gauge.
