Red Paddle Co’s PACTâ„¢ Technology
In line with Red Paddle Co’s ongoing commitment to inflatable paddle board innovation, PACT™ Technology is a new drop stitch weaving process which creates an extra-high-tensile thread matrix at the core of the board that combines with a super-strong but malleable outer layer and a tensile quad stringer-system.
The Red Paddle Co 9’6″ Compact is a full-sized, high performing inflatable stand up paddle board (SUP) that packs down to half the size of a conventional inflatable board. How is that possible? It’s all thanks to Red Paddle Co’s PACTâ„¢ technology.
The result of this new technology is a board that always keeps its shape when inflated, but packs down to an ultra-small size once you’ve let out the air. PACT™ Technology features a completely new durable material with a high resolution thread matrix but is malleable to ensure easy packing.
The Compact 9’6″ uses a 4.72″ (120mm) thickness PACTâ„¢ Technology drop stitch, making the board more rigid, yet still allowing the rider to keep a low center of gravity for improved stability and performance.
The 9’6″ Compact is constructed from the newly-developed core material, featuring a high-resolution thread matrix. A unique “quad stringer” system is placed on the top and underside; as the board is inflated, the stringers become tighter, making the 9’6″ Compact more rigid without any extra bulk.
Past technologies that Red Paddle Co have introduced are Monocoque Structural Laminate, or MSL, the Rocker Stiffening System, or RSS, and the Forward Flex Control rod, or FFC. With a track record of innovative and revolutionary technologies specific to improving the quality, durability and performance of inflatable paddle boards, Red Paddle Co continues to be an industry leader making some of the best inflatable paddle boards available today.
